BC Adaptive Snowsports is committed to increasing gender equity and inclusion and we are very excited to launch our very first Adaptive Snow Sports camp exclusively designed for Girls and Women and those who identify as female.

The three-day event will take place March 8-10, 2019 at Silver Star Resort. We are planning three distinct but paralleled event over the course of the weekend. See the schedule below:

SheCan Lead - March 8, 2019

This is a day for CADS Certified Instructors and Club Admins / Leaders who can ski at an advanced level. Ski with pros during the day and take part in a CAAWS (Canadian Association for the Advancement of Women in Sport) workshop in the evening. There will be socials and yoga to round it all up!

Registration includes on-snow sessions and CAAWS workshop. Itemized sessions are available. Lift passes and accommodation not included.

Space is limited to 20 people.

SheCan Play - March 9, 2019

BC Adaptive Snowsports has joined forces with Let's Play and Silver Star Adaptive Snowsports (SSASS) to provide a come and try day for first time adaptive snowsports participants. 

Registration includes a half-day lesson with certified CADS Instructors from SSASS and dinner with Paralympians Lauren Woolstencroft, Kimberly Joines and Andrea Brousseau. Lift passes and accommodation not included. Your resort pass gives you access to other activities to fill the rest of your day.

SheCan Ski & Ride - March 9 & 10, 2019

Come ski or ride with Paralympians Lauren WoolstencroftKimberly Joines and Andrea Brousseau for two-full days of fun on the snow. Ask them questions about their journey, learn some great tips and share an inspiring weekend with girls and women who love the mountains!

Registration includes two-full day of on snow sessions with Paralympians and lead coaches and instructors & Saturday night dinner with speaker panel. Lift passes and accommodation not included.

Optional add-ons include yoga and the CAAWS Workshop.

Suitable for  independent  participants at an intermediate level.
