BC ADAPTIVE SNOWSPORTS X ROCKY MOUNTAIN ADAPTIVE ALL MOUNTAIN CAMPS
BC Adaptive Snowsports and Rocky Mountain Adaptive All Mountain Camps are geared toward the intermediate to advance skier or snowboarder who is independent and can confidently ski a blue run, linking turns with control. Loading assistance can be provided if needed.
The 4-day camp focuses on a mix of race and all mountain skill development and will include alpine and snowboarding drills. You will build confidence, work on your technique and socialize with old and new friends!
The camp is led by Mark Newton, Alpine Canada Para-alpine Development Manager and Jamie McCulloch, Rocky Mountain Adaptive Para-alpine race coach and supported by qualified CADS Instructors and alpine/snowboard certified coaches and Paralympian mentors!
Off snow events may include video reviews, waxing clinics, guest speakers and social opportunities. Your registration fee includes your Saturday night dinner.
The camp is open to anyone with a valid BC Adaptive Snowsports or CADS Memberships. Visually impaired skiers must provide their own guide (the registration cost for guides is included). If you require a guide, please give us ample notice and we will work on finding you a suitable guide. A guide fee of $100 will be added to your registration fee.
Special rates are available at the Sun Peaks Grand for this event. There are a limited number of rooms set aside for All Mountain Camp attendees. Please email Fannie Smith to inquire about options
The goal of this camp is inclusivity and the registration fee allows us to continue to offer you a high quality event. IF the fee creates a barrier to attend, please contact Fannie Smith directly to discuss.
